Cagnes sur Mer

Situated on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, Cagnes-sur-Mer stretches along a beach almost four kilometres long and is surrounded by beautiful hills. Olive trees, palm trees and other cypresses form the surrounding landscape of Cagnes-sur-Mer, a tourist town in the Alpes-Maritimes.

The fifth largest town in the department, it comprises an old medieval village perched on a hill overlooked by the Grimaldi castle, a modern town at its feet and a fishing village, called Le Cros de Cagnes, on the seaside.
